We started our trip from a house in Manhattan Beach, California where our Mini-Church met. They threw a party for us there and we had real good prayer time before we started. A few of them were cyclist so they rode with us until we got out of the city. We left Manhattan Beach at around 9 am.
It was cloudy and misty in the morning and we were riding into the soft wind. Robin's knee was acting up and beginning to hurt her, we had to stop many times but we still ended up with 71 miles. We arrived at McGrath State Park at 6:30 pm. We shared Jesus with a guy named Joe for almost an hour, he was a really nice guy and wanted to share. We setup the tent in a clearing in the 'Hike and Biker' camping area. |
