Allan and Robin Bremer's 1987 Bicycle Trip
This is the story of our bicycle trip across America. We left from Manhattan Beach, California on May 16th, 1987 and arrived in Lockport, New York 81 days and 4,640.34 miles later. We both kept diaries and took many pictures. Even though this trip happened over 23 years ago, there is a still a life time of stories to tell. Using this website, along with the embedded google-map, I hope to relay all of the good times and great stories with you. Use the links here to navigate through this story.
UPDATE: I added a video that was done in January of 2009, 22 years after the trip. Some corrections to the video: The text in the video states that we were married in 1985 but it was actually 1986. I also state that we left in 1986, in the video, when actually we left in 1987. Click on the video link below.
